Kiyari – Traditional Festival Song

This song is originally designed to coordinate the power of the workers when carrying a very heavy wood or stone materials e.g. the sacred pillar festival at lake Suwa.

The Sacred Pillar Festival

Because the song demonstrates the collaborating spirit of Daiku carpenters, we dedicated the song to our guests at our 25th anniversary three years ago.

Recently the song was dedicated to a lovely couple at their wedding.

The chorus was a prelude to the highlight of the ceremony where the bride read a letter of thanks to her parents.
