Location Scouting

More commonly called ロケハン(Location Hunting) by the media people in Japan, a director visited our company to prepare for the shooting of a major TV program.

The program features graduates from Tokyo University, top university in Japan, who chose a different path  compared to more ‘normal’ ‘wider’ career like becoming a bureaucrat, professor, or working at a major enterprise.

Why Tokyo University graduates chose to become a carpenter , a marine photographer, or Sherpa (mountain guide)  seems to be a mystery for the director, and the reason he came.

Obviously, the director misunderstands what it means to become a ‘real’ carpenter who is not only a carpenter, but also a super designer, a super construction manager, a super salesperson, and a super teacher.

We will see.
