To the Leaders

Akimoto was invited to speak at Junior Chamber of Asaka area, Saitama. It is very close to Japan Ground Self Defence Force (JGSDF) Camp Asaka.

JGSDF Camp Asaka is the place where Akimoto spent one of best times in his life as a candidate for the Olympics in Weight-lifting.

23歳

Junior Chamber is designed to unite and coordinate young leaders in the local area aged under 40, and Akimoto was selected partly because of his experience at JGSDF Camp Asaka.

Akimoto’s message:

Without purpose, no motivation.

Leader’s job is to motivate the team i.e. to set direction, give meaning to their work.

Job recruiting is a sales activity.

First, you have to understand what the candidates (customers) want.

Think for yourself.

Don’t be disrupted by stupid information from smart phones.

The lecture continued till midnight….
